Accepted Insurances
Emory Helathcare accepts most major insurance plans, including private and employer-based plans, Federal health insurance marketplace plans, as well as traditional Medicare and Medicare Advantage plans.
Each Emory Healthcare facility manages care centers at multiple locations, including other Emory locations. Services provided at these locations are billed by the facility operating them.
Visiting any Emory Healthcare location often results in receiving multiple statements. Emory Hospitals charge a "facility fee" covering services such as use of operating rooms, recovery rooms, supplies, medications, technical services and inpatient room and board. It's important to note that hematology and medical oncology clinics, including ambulatory infusion centers at all Winship locations, are operated by Emory University Hospital Midtown.
Starting January 2023, our breast surgical oncology providers at the Clifton campus location have been integrated into Emory University Hospital Midtown. Patients receiving breast surgical oncology care at the Clifton campus may observe a billing change reflected in their insurance carrier's explanation of benefits.
