Biography
Alexandra B. Morshed, PhD, MS, is a research assistant professor in the Department of Behavioral Sciences and Health Education at Rollins School of Public Health of Emory University. Dr. Morshed is an implementation scientist with a substantive focus on prevention of weight-related chronic diseases (e.g., cancer), and a methodological focus on systems science methods. She has more than 10 years of experience in public health research and practice, primarily focused on implementing interventions in vulnerable populations, policy translation and capacity building and knowledge expansion in dissemination and implementation science.
Dr. Morshed is a member of the Cancer Prevention and Control Research Program and the Intervention Development, Dissemination, and Implementation Shared Resource at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Education
Dr. Morshed carried out her doctoral and postdoctoral training at Washington University in St. Louis and earned a Master of Science from Wageningen University in the Netherlands.
