Adam D. Gracz, PhD, is an assistant professor in the Division of Digestive Diseases in the Department of Medicine at Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia.
Dr. Gracz is a member of the Cell and Molecular Biology Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute. He is also a member of the Biochemistry, Cell and Developmental Biology, and Genetics and Molecular Biology graduate programs at Emory University.
Education
Dr. Gracz received his PhD and his Master of Science from University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his postdoctoral training at University of Pennsylvania and at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Research
Dr. Gracz's primary research interest is understanding how chromatin regulatory mechanisms establish and maintain cellular identity, especially in the context of regenerative biology. The current research objective of his lab is to understand transcriptional and chromatin regulation of epithelial biology in the intestine and intrahepatic bile ducts.
