I have to commend Roseann Marie Pruitt. She was not only patient and kind to me, a woman who was informed she might have multiple myeloma, but she was so thorough and spoke slowly to ensure I understood and stayed calm. She took me result by result, and helped me remain calm and ask as many questions as I needed to until I understood what the implications and meanings were for each result. Then, when I emailed her to say the only test result I hadn't received was the one to verify the degree of myeloma I had, and I was so anxious, she actually took time out of her life and emailed me back at 10:30 AT NIGHT, just to reassure me that she did get the tests, and they revealed I had NO CANCER AT ALL!! I do not know any PA/nurse who would do that just to reassure her patient. She is truly wonderful, and deserves all the accolades she gets!

The PA that saw me was trying to fix a bad situation that had occurred with me with the nurse assist. It was a nightmare and very painful. Closing the Lab is a very bad idea for the cancer patients. Usually we go to the Lab, and we are out of there in 5 mins..with no pain, nor fear. Now I am reluctant to go to my appointments because of the new set-up. I don't know what is going to happen when I get there. Emory has achieved the Quantity, now I would like you to focus on quality.
