Steven H. Liang, PhD, is an associate professor in the Department of Radiology and Imaging Sciences and serves as SOM endowed director of the Radiochemistry, Cyclotron Facility and Radiopharmacy Center for System Imaging at Emory University School of Medicine. Dr. Liang also heads the Emory Positron Emission Tomography (PET) Center.
Dr. Liang is a member of the Discovery and Developmental Therapeutics Research Program at Winship Cancer Institute of Emory University.
Education
Dr. Liang earned his PhD from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, British Columbia. He completed his postdoctoral training at Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts.

Research
Dr. Liang's research interests are centered on the discovery of radioactive drugs including positron emission tomography (PET) and theranostic agents for important yet underexplored biological targets for human disease, and subsequently transition new diagnostics and radiotherapies into clinical use. >>Visit Dr. Liang's research program website.

Dr. Liang has been published extensively in numerous peer-reviewed scientific journals. He serves on the editorial board of Theranostics and Molecular Imaging and serves as associate editor for American Journal of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging.
