Biography
Margaret A. Johns, PhD, is the director of cancer research development at Winship Cancer Institute. Dr. Johns also oversees Winship activities as a member of the national ORIEN consortium, the world's largest cancer research biorepository and clinical database.
Education
Dr. Johns received her PhD in Human Genetics and Molecular Biology from Johns Hopkins University. After obtaining her degree, she was a postdoctoral fellow in bioinformatics for Parke-Davis, and then a senior scientist in bioinformatics at Pfizer.
